Lavender Hydrosol
Our 100% pure lavender hydrosol is produced during the steam distillation of essential lavender oil on our farm.
Hydrosols, sometimes called “flower waters”, are the gentle aromatic waters created during the steam distillation process used to make essential oils.
As steam passes through fresh plant material, it captures both the plant’s water-soluble compounds and trace amounts of essential oil before condensing back into liquid. The essential oil separates and floats to the top, while the remaining botanical water beneath becomes the hydrosol.
Much softer and less concentrated than essential oils, hydrosols are incredibly versatile and can often be used directly on the skin, linens, or throughout the home. Lavender hydrosol is especially loved for its calming aroma, refreshing feel, and ability to bring a subtle sense of ease to everyday rituals
